Games shelf updateFixpresidential-portraitsmadison-rowbriggs-galaxyatlas-queststarlight-crewspaceship-climbplinkwordsproutsudoku

Miniature game boards and clearer navigation

The games shelf now uses original miniature game-board illustrations for all eight listed games. Artwork stays inside its card so titles and descriptions remain readable. The MakeJoy Labs mark on Presidential Portraits opens the main site, while the game title and Home tab return to the game. Sudoku is temporarily off the games shelf but remains available by direct link.

Presidential Portraits 1.0.0Releasepresidential-portraits

Presidential Portraits joins the games shelf

Explore portraits and sourced facts for all 45 U.S. presidents, then play four history games with Easy, Medium, and Harder choices. Games have hints, no points, and natural stopping places. Play works offline and keeps only the current games in this browser.

WordSprout 1.0.0Releasewordsprout

WordSprout joins the games shelf with a brighter garden

WordSprout now has a sunny sky, bold color tiles, and a flower for every word you grow this sitting. Letters turn over one at a time, the board fits landscape phones and small screens, and the how-to-play guide opens at the top with a picture of each color. Play is the same: six tries, an optional clue and free letter, the word and its meaning at the end of every round, no streaks or scores, and nothing leaves the device.

Plink 1.0.0Releaseplink

Plink turns rain and drawings into music

Draw lines for falling rain to play, explore three starting scenes, and remix nine built-in songs. Plink works offline and saves one drawing in this browser. It has no account, ads, purchases, score, chat, or network requests.

Briggs Galaxy 2.3.4Featurebriggs-galaxy

Landmarks with more character and construction detail

Stations have segmented solar panels and docking collars, relay antennas have braced masts and shaped dishes, crystal clusters have prism tips, and lighthouses have framed lantern rooms and stone foundations. Quieter materials make these forms easier to read. Flight courses, collision shapes, controls, rewards, pilot progress and existing highlights remain compatible.

Briggs Galaxy 2.3.3Fixbriggs-galaxy

A clearer view through the galaxy

Decorative planets, moons and rings now stay clear of the whole flight corridor, including bends and loops. This removes the planet obstruction near the end of Light Doors and improves scenery placement on other affected routes. Playable courses, collisions, rewards and pilot progress are unchanged.

Briggs Galaxy 2.3.2Featurebriggs-galaxy

Clearer worlds and more natural surfaces

Lunar ground and haze have a cooler mineral palette. Rocks have continuous lighting and geological surface detail, crystal clusters have quartz-shaped tips, and reflected light follows each world. A quieter guide path reveals more of the terrain while rings and route lights remain clear. Flight routes, collision shapes, controls, rewards and local pilot progress are preserved.

Briggs Galaxy 2.3.1Featurebriggs-galaxy

A clearer flight dashboard for young pilots

A named next ring and finish route, clearer Flight Style feedback, and labeled Boost, Roll, Blaster and Rocket controls help pilots find their next action. The controls show when they are ready and work with keyboard holds or short button activations. Practice shows only its two tools, and Guided flight keeps advice together. Existing routes, rewards, voice and local highlights remain available.

Briggs Galaxy 2.3.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Roll, explore and replay your favorite flight

More detailed planets, terrain and ships join assisted rolls, Flight Style combos and a roomy practice circuit. Watch the best moment after landing, keep up to three local highlights, and deliberately download game-only video where the browser supports it. Style points stay separate from campaign rewards. All 21 routes, pilot backups, computer fullscreen and the approved Briggs welcome remain available. No accounts or uploads are added.

Briggs Galaxy 2.2.1Fixbriggs-galaxy

Captain Briggs can be heard on the public game

Fixed the public-site policy conflict that prevented the approved welcome from playing. The first Play click each visit now starts Briggs when sound is on, with Hear again, visible playback feedback and a clear retry action. Mute stays respected, and takeoff or leaving the game stops the welcome. No new dialogue was generated.

Briggs Galaxy 2.2.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Distinct worlds and a guide beside your flight

Explore unique scenery across all 21 routes from a cleaner galaxy map. Optional Guided flight offers one action at a time, detailed route help, and an immediate Off switch. A persistent aiming mark follows the guns and shows target lock and rocket recharge. The approved Captain Briggs welcome is available with its exact caption; new matching spoken dialogue is not included. Local saves, earned rewards, and computer full-screen play continue to work offline.

Briggs Galaxy 2.1.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Full-screen flights across more detailed planets

Use Full screen on the galaxy map or pause menu for an immersive computer view; Escape returns to the browser and pauses the flight. New cratered moons, ocean worlds, shaded gas giants and rings join smoother terrain and clearer lighting. Replaying the rescue route now releases its beacon graphics correctly. The 21-route campaign, earned rewards and local pilot saves continue to work offline.

Atlas Quest 1.0.0Releaseatlas-quest

Atlas Quest becomes a signed V1 release

Promoted the reviewed geography adventure to the released games shelf with finite map, clue, matching, sorting, and world activities; a pausable 60-second Time Rush; correct, skipped, and revisit summaries; an optional local printable classroom report; and 50 static Cedar AI-voice recordings. It has no streak, daily reward, points, unlocks, child profile, child-data or gameplay-telemetry transmission, ads, accounts, purchases, chat, or tracking.

WordSprout 0.1.0Featurewordsprout

WordSprout joins the parent preview shelf

A word-guessing game with the habit-forming parts left out: play as many as you like, no streak or score carries over, and there is no way to lose — a clue arrives before you run out of guesses, and every round ends with the word and what it means. Three word sizes let a young reader and a grown-up share one device. The game works without internet and remembers recently shown words on this device only to reduce repeats.

Public site 2026.08.08Featurehub

The games shelf becomes a quick old-web arcade portal

Rebuilt the released-games front page with the bright, compact energy of a late-2000s web arcade while keeping modern HTML, honest release labels, no Flash, no ads, and no tracking. Search plus Action, Puzzle, Tabletop, One player, and Together filters keep the shelf quick as it grows; education, parent, and creative tools now point to the separate MakeJoy Apps shelf.

MakeJoy Paint 1.0.1Fixpaint

Tablet drawing leaves more room for the canvas

Moved the tool rail across the top on landscape tablets so the canvas stays wide while Layers remains visible, replaced the unclear guide close icon with a plain Hide help control, and explained that the eraser affects the active layer while lower layers may show through.

Public site 2026.08.07Fixbrightclasshub

BrightClass and the activity shelf get clear routes

The familiar BrightClass address now opens the maintained teacher preview with or without a final slash, the front page begins with four large plain-language choices, known retired links reach their current pages, BrightClass includes a way back to all activities, and report confirmations can display the report number returned by The Desk.

Briggs Flight Lab 1.6.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

The Maker Lab opens the road to space

Briggs’ Flight Lab now begins with a protected indoor Mini Whoop course inside a grounded maker workshop, then points toward FPV Academy and Briggs’ Galaxy. The opening, shared Next Flight Plan, workshop depth cues, cockpit and chase views, Pilot Card, changing booth, garage, optional recorded Captain voice, and touch, tilt, keyboard, and controller paths are included. Returning to the menu now fully closes the continuous flight audio so no engine hum remains behind the Maker Lab screen.

Briggs Galaxy 1.5.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Captain Briggs makes space easier to read

Added speed-responsive chase exhaust, a clearer near-to-far flight corridor, a reserved gate opening, hollow edge diamonds for gates beside, above, below, or behind the ship, and friendly predicted rock guidance with striped warning brackets and a separate escape arrow. Keyboard throttle and camera controls, visible focus, reduced motion, high contrast, and polite live guidance are stronger while routes, privacy, local Pilot Cards, and non-punitive play remain unchanged.

Briggs Galaxy 1.4.1Fixbriggs-galaxy

The report control clears the cockpit during flight

The standard grown-up report link now hides throughout active flight on computers as well as phones, then returns on the menu and pause screen. This keeps the cockpit controls unobstructed without removing the feedback path.

Briggs Galaxy 1.4.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

One clear flight guide opens the cockpit view

Rebuilt the flight HUD around one current instruction and one central gate, moved safe training targets out of the default route, made defense controls contextual, removed duplicate telemetry and status panels, integrated boost charge into the Boost control, introduced dedicated tablet and phone layouts, and added a safe portrait pause that asks the pilot to turn sideways while Captain Briggs holds the controls. Privacy, local Pilot Cards, open routes, and friendly non-gory training remain unchanged.

Briggs Galaxy 1.3.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

The Galaxy Flight Lab gets a cinematic visual overhaul

Added a purpose-built child-friendly nebula backdrop, parallax atmosphere, luminous flight corridor, layered planets, richer asteroids and scouts, brighter gates, upgraded projectiles and spark bursts, dimensional two-seat ships, a rebuilt cockpit, a unified glass HUD, smaller phone controls, and polished pilot, garage, and showcase-card art. Gameplay rules, privacy, open routes, and friendly non-gory training remain unchanged.

Briggs Galaxy 1.2.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Captain Briggs opens friendly defense training

Added rechargeable blasters, three reloading lock-on rockets, destructible multi-hit asteroids, colorful alien scout bots, homing projectiles, health bars, target brackets, spark-burst effects, combat stars, and a mobile-safe weapons HUD. Alien scouts harmlessly warp home when tagged; there is no gore, fear, punishment, or required combat.

Briggs Galaxy 1.1.0Featurebriggs-galaxy

Pilots open the changing booth and space garage

Added moving space dust, route pylons, safe asteroid scenery, and a rebuilt glass HUD for clearer speed and depth. Added a local-only changing booth, starship garage, printable showcase Pilot Card, cosmetic five-rank Flight Path, ship servicing, and customization that safely migrates existing cards without locking any adventure.

Briggs Galaxy 1.0.1Fixbriggs-galaxy

Mobile pilots get a clearer flight guide

Collapsed the report control to a small bug icon on mobile and hid it during active flight, while restoring it whenever the game is paused. Added Captain Briggs’ flight guide with simple turn, climb, glide, center, steady, and boost directions for the next gate.

Briggs Galaxy 1.0.0Releasebriggs-galaxy

Captain Briggs opens the Galaxy Flight Lab

Released a two-seat space-flight game with ten routes available from the start, cockpit and chase views, touch sticks, optional phone tilt, keyboard controls, local Pilot Cards, approved Captain Briggs audio, and a grown-up playtest guide. There are no ads, accounts, purchases, chat, or gameplay tracking.

Atlas Quest 0.2.0Featureatlas-quest

Atlas Mode visits all 50 states without a clock

Added a player-paced map mode that names each of all 50 states exactly once in a shuffled session. Players choose the state on the map, retry without a penalty, and decide when to move to the next state; there is no timer or score in this mode.

Classic Corner 0.34.0Releaseclassics

Every Classic Corner release gate is executable

Added Sudoku entry undo and accurate Solitaire undo availability, strengthened complete-ending playtests for Memory and both Go Fish styles, enlarged Rules and spatial slice controls, and added a file-only audit covering all 27 games for keyboard starts, live status, accessible names, 44-pixel controls, phone-to-desktop layouts, declared chance, and forbidden browser capabilities.

Classic Corner 0.33.0Featureclassics

One shared control shell spans all twenty-seven games

Added a reusable offline shell for game tabs, live status, active-game undo, rules, guide state, board view, print, and keyboard tab navigation. A runtime contract audit verifies all 27 panels, while shared undo delegates to each game's existing history and never changes its rules.

Classic Corner 0.32.0Featureclassics

Print one current game locally

Added an adult-initiated print-and-play view that sends only the active game's current rendered position and visible rules to the browser print dialog. Printing leaves every game state unchanged and creates no upload, saved game, server-side file, or share link.

Classic Corner 0.31.0Featureclassics

Tic-tac-toe computer play publishes every choice rule

Added optional First open and Line aware Tic-tac-toe computer behaviors while keeping local two-player as default. Each behavior explains its exact deterministic priorities, replies immediately on-device, groups the local move and reply as one backward/forward history turn, and passed exhaustive legal-choice tests across 294,778 reachable unfinished boards.

Classic Corner 0.30.0Featureclassics

Step through complete Checkers turns in both directions

Added Previous turn and Next turn history to regular Checkers and Position Builder Explore. Whole-turn states, chained captures, natural endings, and side to move restore exactly; making a new turn after stepping backward clears the old future branch, while the immutable built source remains unchanged.

Classic Corner 0.29.0Featureclassics

Build a Checkers position, then explore a safe copy

Added a local Checkers Position Builder with five named edit tools, playable-square enforcement, twelve-piece limits, side-to-move choice, edit undo, validation, a two-jump sample, and Explore mode using forced captures, chains, crowning, natural endings, and whole-turn undo while the built source remains immutable.

Classic Corner 0.28.0Featureclassics

Board views make every game easier to see

Added global Standard, Large pieces, and High contrast board views. The settings are local to the open page, never alter game state or rules, preserve keyboard paths and non-color labels, and passed phone and desktop visual checks plus 40 complete browser scenarios.
